With the growing emphasis on foundational research training and increasing research opportunities for our students, such as the "Peking University Challenge Cup", internships and research opportunities, we aim to foster our students’ research abilities. From reading and research design to data collection, these processes require systematic and comprehensive guidance, which are provided by our professors. Additionally, professors will support dedicated undergraduates with professional advice and letters of recommendation upon graduation.

Since 2016, our department has implemented an undergraduate mentorship system in which each professor guides a small group of students. This system provides opportunities for students to participate in research projects and ensures that every student receives comprehensive guidance on their academic journey, including course selection, reading recommendations, field research internships, research competitions and more.

What We Can Offer
